KGI Securities Investment Trust Co. Ltd. (KGI SITE) was established on April 19, 2001 with paid-in capital of NT$300 million. KGI SITE aims to create wealth for its clients and to be their long-term financial partner, by focusing on providing new and innovative products, producing satisfactory returns, and delivering top quality, refined customer service.

The Research and Investment team of KGI SITE have solid backgrounds and experience in the financial business, and have achieved outstanding results in the industry. Their quality research and outstanding performance have received widespread acclaim as illustrated by awards won. KGI SITE’s KGI Pioneer Fund won the Best Domestic Equity Fund from the Taipei Foundation of Finance in 2004. KGI Big Five Taiwan Fund was nominated for Best Domestic Equity Fund from the Taipei Foundation of Finance in 2011. KGI Pan-Asia Taiwan Enterprises Fund won the Best Three-Year Return for an Asia ex-Japan Equity Fund from the Lipper Fund Awards, the Best Three-Year Return for an Asia Equity Fund from the Taipei Foundation of Finance in 2012, and the Best Three-Year Return for an Asia Equity Fund from the Lipper Fund Awards in 2017. KGI Emerging Markets Equity Small & Mid Cap Fund won the Best Five-Year Return for a Global Emerging Equity Fund from the Lipper Fund Awards in 2017. KGI BRICA Fund won the Best Three-Year Return for a Natural Resources Fund from the Lipper Fund Awards in 2017.

In terms of mutual funds, KGI SITE has committed to developing new products. For example, the KGI Pan-Asia Taiwan Enterprises Fund and KGI Asia VIPH Fund are the few funds in Taiwan that are qualified to invest in the Vietnam market, Also, KGI EM Trend ETF Fund of Funds, KGI Emerging Markets Equity Small & Mid Cap Fund, KGI Cloud Force Fund, KGI Silver Age Fund, and KGI Hospital & Dependency Related Industries Fund are the first NT dollar-denominated funds investing in those respective themes and asset classes..

In responding to the Financial Supervisory Commission’s (FSC) Asian Cup policy, KGI SITE, joined by Thailand’s One Asset Management, launched Economic Moat Fund in Taiwan and Thailand respectively on September 1, 2014. Economic Moat Fund, which applies an 'economic moats” stock-picking philosophy, was Taiwan’s first fund that responded to the FSC’s Asian Cup policy. These two funds are distributed in Taiwan, Thailand, and Honk Kong via KGI Securities Taiwan, KGI Bank, KGI Securities Thailand, and KGI Security Honk Kong (only to professional investors). This project showcases our ability to leverage KGI Group’s Asian presence to create synergies and new business models among entities across Asia.

Since the Taiwan’s Securities Investment and Consulting Act became effective in 2004, KGI SITE has been actively developing its private equity funds for high-net-worth individuals. Relying on their innovative, distinctive and tailor-made features, these funds have been producing satisfying returns for investors.

In the discretionary investment business, KGI SITE successfully wins mandates from institutions, including life insurance companies and individual clients.

Backed by broader recognition of fund performances, KGI SITE will continue providing investors with long-term sustainable performances.
