Press Release

KGI Financial Holding convened its 2026 Annual General Meeting today (12th). During the meeting, shareholders approved the 2025 business report, consolidated financial statements, and the earnings distribution plan. A cash dividend of NT$1 per common share was declared, representing the highest payout ratio in the past five years.

KGI Financial Holding reported profit after-tax of NT$30.058 billion for 2025, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$1.74. Excluding provisions for foreign exchange price fluctuation reserves and one-off factors from previous years, annual profit reached a record high. Profitability has shown explosive growth this year. From January to May, profit after-tax reached NT$22.33 billion, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$1.32. Including FVOCI (Fair Value through Other Comprehensive Income) Gains on Disposals of Stock, cumulative adjusted profit after-tax amounted to NT$52.329 billion, equivalent to EPS of NT$3.09. This level has already surpassed the full-year results of last year, continuing to set new historical highs. KGI Life Insurance, with its timely grasp of market trends, realized nearly NT$30.0 billion in stock disposal gains cumulatively in the first five months. Although these gains are not included in current-period profits, they are directly reflected in retained earnings and form part of distributable earnings.

KGI Financial Holding stated that looking ahead to 2026, Taiwan’s exports are expected to maintain growth, supported by multinational corporations’ build-out of AI infrastructure and sustained demand for related hardware. With a relatively low base in overall consumption, domestic demand growth is also poised to rebound. On the investment front, AI and semiconductor sectors remain the primary focus. KGI Financial Holding will closely monitor global challenges and emerging trends, respond in line with government policies to strengthen risk management, and actively embrace innovation and talent. The Group is committed to providing forward-looking and sustainable financial solutions for customers, shareholders, and society.

Reviewing 2025 operating performance, KGI Financial Holding’ major subsidiaries—including life insurance, banking, securities, venture capital, and asset management—demonstrated strong momentum.
