The board of directors of China Development Financial Holdings (hereinafter referred to as "CDFH") held a meeting today (20) and approved the nomination of Mr. Shen Jong-Chin as vice chairman. The company aims to leverage his deep insights into global economic trends, strategic foresight on global supply chain restructuring, and extensive experience in both public policy and the financial sector to support the continued growth of CDIB Financial Holding’s businesses.

Mr. Shen previously led major national initiatives such as the “Industrial Transformation” and “Invest in Taiwan” programs. Under his leadership, Taiwan became a global hub for advanced manufacturing, semiconductor process technology, high-tech R&D, and green energy. He also helped propel the development of emerging sectors such as electric vehicles and biotech, while actively promoting Taiwan’s net-zero transition. His work in aligning policy finance with industrial digitalization and sustainability efforts has laid a solid foundation for Taiwan’s long-term economic growth.

CDF has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for four consecutive years.
