Social Investment
In 2024, KGI Financial launched the "Regional Revitalization Changemakers" initiative, bringing the depth of corporate volunteer services into a new milestone. In 2025, we further
collaborated with 18 local revitalization teams across northern, central, southern, and eastern regions of Taiwan. KGI Financial identified the key challenges they face, including financial management, marketing and promotion, fundraising, and collaboration models with corporations. Employees from various departments are invited to form volunteer teams, engaging directly with local communities to understand their needs and co-create solutions alongside the revitalization organizations. KGI Financial has also established a cross-group "Regional Revitalization Resource Matching Committee" as an integrated platform to respond to the needs of the revitalization organizations. The volunteers assisted the revitalization groups in organizing finances, optimizing the business model for corporate collaboration, and connecting over 200 internal and external resources in the past two years. By the end of 2025, the Group had contributed over 15,000 service hours and generated more than NT$10 million in revenue for the revitalization organizations.

Support Plahan to realize a mutual-aid and self-supporting elderly community
PERFORMANCE
  • Supported Plahan in establishing the Dongshi Co-living Home as one of the national pilot sites for the “co-living home” long-term care model. By integrating resources from medical institutions, long-term care systems, schools, and social welfare organizations, it aims to jointly/ build a core community hub for moderate to severe care and intergenerational exchange -enabling every elder to live with dignity within their familiar community.
  • Established accessible facilities, including level pathways, step-free entrances, handrails, wide corridors, and accessible restrooms, reflecting respect for fundamental human rights.
  • Developed a friendly chicken coop within the Dongshi Co-living Home, breaking away from the single identity of “care recipient” and transforming residents into “participants, ”companions,” and “contributors.” This helps elders stay connected with the outside world, reduce feelings of isolation, and strengthen their psychological support system.

Micro Insurance
KGI Life In 2025 continued to advance financial inclusion through tripartite partnerships with six local governments—Kaohsiung City, Tainan City, Yunlin County, Yilan County, Hualien County, and Taitung County—and social welfare organizations. Through these collaborations, microinsurance premium income reached 20.59 million TWD. Based on the annual targets approved by the competent authority, the achievement rate reached 215%, ranking first in the industry.
